Piedmont: Songs of the Hills

Magic in Piedmont is subtle and abundant, woven through the songs of all people.

Piedmont: Songs of the Hills is an alternate magic system and folk song generator for Cairn and other Into the Odd inspired games. Based on Maze Rats and Liminal Horror, this song generator pulls from Appalachian folk songs, ballads, spirituals, and other musical sources of the region.

Songs of the Hills is the first part of Piedmont, an upcoming mystical Appalachian hack of Yochai Gal's Cairn.

3/27/2022 Update: With the release of part 2 after many months, I have updated Songs of the Hills with new files. These updated pdfs have a cleaner and more readable layout. I have also included a txt doc and the original MS Paint pdf.
